Lactavisa discovered through the program that they're doing better than expected and see flexibility as a key strength, allowing them to serve niche clients with smaller production runs.
From Circular Economy to Digital Transformation
Conservas Miravalles is pushing for renewable energy use and optimizing processes, including finding new uses for byproducts. Contenedores Gema is exploring digitalization and waste valorization, building on their existing sustainability efforts.
Jofrasa focuses on embedding sustainability into employee training to ensure these practices stick in daily routines across their broad service regions.
Local Government Sees a Blueprint for Growth
The mayor highlighted that this initiative should mark a before-and-after for participating companies, moving sustainability from theory to measurable results. Urban Development and Economic Planning officials praised the program’s intensity and immediate impact, noting it motivates other local businesses to join future editions.
